Whilst it's not an organised event, the ancient market town of Appleby has hosted the world famous largest horse & gypsy fair in Europe, since 1750.
ITINERARY- Arriving Appleby @ noon, departing for Carlisle @ 5pm for hotel & dinner. Leaving @ noon on Saturday to return to Appleby for the afternoon & then departing for home @ 5pm.
The Great Dorset Steam Fair & the Bournemouth Air Festival

The Great Dorset Steam Fair has something for everyone! This awe inspiringly impressive show is a spectacle and is regarded as the National Heritage Show as well as the leading steam fair in the world. The Bournemouth Air Festival, with on the ground action, air displays, the Red Arrows and Night Air evening entertainment is the UK's largest free aviation event.
ITINERARY- Arriving Bournemouth early Friday evening, departing for Steam Fair each day @ 9am. Return to hotel @ 5pm on Saturday and returning homeward bound from showground @ 3pm on Sunday.

ITINERARY- Arriving London mid afternoon on Friday, with all day Saturday and the morning of Sunday to enjoy the joys of London, sight seeing, shopping, shows and restaurants. Returning homeward early afternoon on Sunday.
